1.  What information does Kamorii collect and how long do we keep it?

a) Your Personal Data is collected when you register or fill in a form on the Website. This includes information you provide when you register to use our Website. The information you give us may include your name, email, country of residence, IP address and personal preferences.

b) Personal Data that is provided by you will only be used for the purpose for which it is provided, unless you are otherwise informed at the time you supply the Personal Data.

c) Kamorii may from time to time collect information from you for the purpose of creating depersonalised data. We may use this information to improve the Website, develop products and for other internal purposes. This information is only used in depersonalised form and is not connected to any information that may identify you personally.

d) We will only keep your Personal Data for as long as is necessary.

2.  How do we process and store your Personal Data?

a) Your Personal Data may be processed both in and outside the UK. This may include countries outside of the European Economic Area. When you submit your details in whichever country you are situated you agree to the information being processed in the UK. We may also process or transfer your Personal Data outside of the UK.

3.  How do we keep your data secure?

a) The Website and the servers we use, wherever they are based, have technical measures in place to protect against unauthorised or unlawful use of your Personal Data as well as the accidental loss, destruction or damage of your Personal Data whilst under our control.

b) It must be stated that no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure and whilst we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us and please be aware that you do so at your own risk.

4.  How does Kamorii use your Personal Data?

a) Kamorii may process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • communicating with you about products and services;
  • monitoring, developing and improving the Website and your user experience;
  • providing you with a personalised service;
  • conducting market research surveys;
  • running competitions;
  • providing you with information about Kamorii’s, or our business partners’ products and services where you have provided your consent. You will be able to opt-out or unsubscribe from these messages;

5.  Sharing your Personal Data

Kamorii may disclose your Personal Data to third parties in the following circumstances:

a) We may disclose your Personal Data to our partners who supply services to you on our behalf and who need to process your Personal Data in the provision of such services. When you request goods and services from us, you are consenting to the disclosure of your Personal Data to our partners who may provide such goods and services under contract and guarantee to our satisfaction that they have sufficiently robust processes in place to ensure the security of your Personal Data whilst it is in their care.

b) We may share your Personal Data with any of our subsidiaries, our holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

  • in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your Personal Data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
  • if all or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case the Personal Data held by us about our users will be one of those transferred assets.

c) We may disclose depersonalised data (such as aggregated statistics) about the users of our Websites in order to describe our sales, customers, traffic patterns and other site information to prospective partners, advertisers, investors and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.

6.  Kamorii Cookies

a) “Cookies” are pieces of information that a website transfers to your hard drive to store and occasionally track information about you. Cookies are very common and will not to harm your system.  Cookies simply store or gather information and help you to get the most out our Website.

b) We may collect information about your computer including, where possible, your IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration as part of our audit trail process. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can change your browser to prevent that. You are not obliged to accept cookies and you can adjust your browser’s setting to prevent it from accepting cookies on your computer.  Simply Google how to disable them. However, you may not be able to take full advantage of the Website if you do so.

c) Cookies are specific to the server that created them, which means they cannot be used to track your movements around the web. Although they may be used to store information which may identify a user’s computer, cookies do not personally identify users and passwords and credit card information are not stored in cookies.

d) The Website use two main types of cookies:

In-session cookies – are only used whilst you are visiting the Website and are deleted when you leave.  They remember you as you move between pages.  They also help maintain security.

Persistent cookies – are cookies that stay on your computer until they expire or are deleted. We set automatic deletion dates so that we do not keep your information for longer than necessary.

e) The Website may also use cookies for the following:

  • Gather customer journey information across our sites and fulfil any of your requests;
  • Protect your privacy;

  • Store details of your preferences to improve and enhance your visit to our sites;

a) Social networking sites, such as Facebook, among others, work with us as trusted third party partners. We provide access to our Websites for third parties and business partners so that we can generate interest in the Website among members of your social networks and to allow you to share our content with friends in your network.

b) We do not control how your Personal Data is collected, stored or used by such third party sites or to whom it is disclosed. 8.  Other websites

a) This privacy policy applies only to the Website. There may be links on the Website to third party websites over which we have no control and when you click on advertisements or links you will leave our Website and go to another site and thereafter it is that third party’s site whose privacy policy will apply.

b) Kamorii accepts no responsibility or liability for any third party practices on third party websites. Kamorii advises you to carefully read third party privacy statements prior to the use of any third party website.

9.  Access to your Personal Data and updating it

a) You are entitled to see the information we hold about you. If you wish to access the Personal Data held by us, you should contact us in writing using the information provided below.

b) If we are legally able, we will provide you with copies of all the Personal Data we hold about you, on payment of the recommended administration charge of £10. We are obliged to request that you provide us with identification so that we can be certain that you are entitled to receive the requested data.

c) Please help us to keep our records of your Personal Data up-to-date by notifying us of any changes or corrections to the Personal Data we hold about you.
