A beautiful way of showing your partner you care is to nurture them physically. Nurturing can mean many things and we most likely do some nurturing as part of our general routines with a partner. Mutual grooming exists throughout the animal kingdom and it is also important for human intimacy that we take part in this wonderful activity. We benefit when our partner is healthy and feels nurtured and it leads to increased bonding and togetherness.

Here are some ideas on how to nurture your partner:

1) Skin care – exfoliating the face and body and moisturising the skin

2) Hair care – washing and conditioning each other’s hair and brushing it

3) Feet Pampering – Prepare a bowl of warm water and wash and massage the feet then dry and moisturise them

4) Cooking healthy food and preparing bowls of fruit. Cooking for a partner and providing healthy snacks is a wonderful way of showing we care about our partner’s health.

5) Hand massage – bathe the hands, massage them and then moisturise with hand cream

6) Body massage – use body massage oil and lather the whole body with sweeping hand moves
